Clwyd Practical Classics is a club that caters for enthusiasts of all classic and vintage cars. The club is run by and for its members in order to further their education, interest and enthusiasm in classic and vintage vehicles. Clwyd Practical Classics is a club with many members.

Our next club meeting is Wednesday 6th May 2026 at Holywell Golf Club, Bynford at 7pm. This month’s meeting is Bring Your Models & Classic Car Photographs with a prize for the best in each. To compliment the theme of the evening we have a talk and demonstration by Ken Jones from the Trefnant Radio Controlled Model Club. Any new members welcomed, come along and see what we do and meet the very friendly club members.
Celebrating our 40th Birthday It is hoped that we will get a 40th birthday cake in time for the meeting, and on the subject of the clubs 40th Birthday look out in the May edition of the Practical Classics magazine for an article recognising the club’s achievements. The publication is out on the 12th May.
Reminder if you have not renewed your membership as yet the form is on the club website and you can pay directly by BAC’s or at the meeting itself.
Drive it Day this year on the 26th April we have 8 club cars taking part and we are joining with Border Classic to have a great convey of classics travelling from Rhug, Corwen through Snowdonia to the Tacia Taid Motor Museum on Anglesey then on later for a meal at the Tal Y Bont on the Llanrwst road for those opting for the meal. We wish all an enjoyable and safe day’s outing.
Finally the continued success of the club depends on willing helping hands, with your help we can achieve much more. It may be joining us on the committee or just on club selling the raffle tickets raising money for charity. Another way of supporting the club is give us articles for the Club newsletter, it may be a show or run you have done or a piece on a project you are doing.

This year’s run on Sunday 1st March is being organised by Kelvin & Christine.
The run will have a coffee break and finish with a meal.
